You're here because you have spyware or adware on your computer. Man, that sucks.

I would hate it if it happened to me. Oh wait, it has. And I spent countless hours trying to rid myself of it.

Read on, suckers:

The first question you're asking yourself is either "how did this happen to me?" or "why do people do this?" Both are valid questions. However, they aren't important right now. What's important is that you rid yourself of this RIGHT NOW.

So, look to your right and download the files Spybot and Adaware. Those two will help you for the time being. If you download HiJack This before reading what it does, don't come crying to me!

So, your first step is to download those files and install them. When you install AdAware, the last step is going to ask if you want to get the latest updates (you do). Once you install AdAware, your first inclination is to run it. Not so fast, my friend. Let's install SpyBot.

Spybot will bring up this crazy wizard thing at the end. The most important part of this install is the latest updates and the immunization. You'll want to do that stuff too.

Go ahead and print out the Monthly maintenance text file. You'll need to refer to it.

	After you've installed this stuff, your best bet is to restart your computer. And go ahead and run them in this order: SpyBot AdAware Your spy/ad problems should be fixed. If not, then lets use the big gun: HiJack This (it's like using bleach on a red sweatshirt). You've been warned. The details are too numerous to go into here. Print out the text file and refer to them.
