n     March 2003 – October 2004, Properity Incorporated, Louisville, KY

Customer Service/System Administrator/Network Administrator

Charged with the care and maintenance of three Windows 2000 Advanced Servers and one Unix-based email server. Responsible for the installation of new hardware and software for corporate office. Supported 10 desktop computers with Windows XP Professional and Office 2000 software as well as two Windows 2000 Server file servers in the office environment.

Implemented a virus scan and spam block set of protocols on the Unix-based email server which cut “bad email” delivery almost 50%.
Created a voicemail server/fax server for corporate communication purposes.

Main point of contact for communication between web hosting company and Properity, Incorporated.

Tasked with describing company's mission and products to customers. Answered any questions they had, or referred them to someone who could. Spent time identifying ways to streamline existing products to create new products that would generate additional income.

Responsible for a variety of projects including network infrastructure, intranet and internet projects Maintained desktop computer hardware and software for over 100 individuals.  Supported Windows 98 and Windows XP operating systems. Tasked with voice-mail upgrade and maintenance.

Responsible for leading twice-monthly training sessions over a variety of computer related topics. Responsible for designing and implementing intranet communication website which increased agent communication and productivity. Installation and maintenance of high volume Unix-based email server.

Maintained one Windows NT4 fileserver with Veritas backup for file redundancy.

Responsible for the training of staff and agents to use city-wide multiple listing system to its best advantage during time of drastic change.

Responsible for coordinating repairs and service of office wiring and telephone system.

Performed hardware and software installations in a variety of workplace settings. Responsible for troubleshooting corporate-specific applications. Involved in planning and executing corporate-wide desktop Y2K rollout utilizing Windows NT4 desktop computers.

Responsible for inventory control of computer hardware and software.
Performed file backup and restore during a statewide desktop overhaul.

Information liaison between corporate office and field employees. Assigned with the task of maintaining corporate Lotus Notes directory and Address book.
